I want to share this article here before the dustings of snow on the nearby peaks and the decreasing hours of daylight slowly push my dreams away from exploring green hills to ones of wandering around bright white peaks.  I wrote this article for ZEAL Optics and it was originally posted on their social media and blog last month.
